" Back to Basics – Tape Collector " is a continuation of the Back to Basics series, featuring iconic retro devices from the 1980s, carefully handcrafted entirely from paper.

Back then, each cassette tape was a deeply personal treasure, carrying a selection of our favorite songs. Our relationship with these objects was unique: every tape had its own character, shape, and design, becoming a small reflection of our personality.

The sculpture plays with a sense of nostalgia while remaining firmly rooted in the present. The obsolescence of the object raises questions about our relentless pursuit of technological progress, and the enduring appeal of iconic classics that continue to resurface through the ever-changing cycle of trends.
